OMG,awesome thanks for posting. I was so busy when I was out I couldn't fully look at this issue. She does have a great coverstory in "People" magazine which I got. I agree with Alicia although we are in our 20's we still admired her...I did since I was like 12! She is such an important & inspirational figure.

It says "four-film tribute" but there's only three films listed on the schedule... nevertheless, I'm glad that TCM is honoring Lena.

I was just wandering is it true she had a huge love affair with MArlon Brando, and when he left her she was terribly distraught, suicidal?

Uhmmm...no. She was married to Lennie Hayton before Brando even made a film. Lena went through alot of her life,more than most and she never wanted to off herself especially not for some dude. I can't think of who that story could be about...I hope its not true though.
