ruslana i agree.broken blossoms is heartbreaking.lillian gish´s performance is one of the most intense i´ve ever seen and richard barthelmess as the melancholy "yellow man" is touching too.in the end they´re all dead.battling burrows kills his daughter,the yellow man kills battling burrows and then himself.so griffith leaves the punishment to a higher justice (one can only hope there is one)...lucy and cheng huan however are certainly united in heaven...that thought is solace to the viewer´s broken heart.
