One half Harrods award winner, Lilly Heine is the next one to watch. Her layers of laser-cut fabrics to produce soft, sculptural pieces is highly original and emotional. Her inspiration came from aspects of Brancusi's work and Picasso's naive sketches and studies of curvaveous women. Heine's work reflects the refined sartorial elements of couture and in a ready-to-wear collection for modern women.

This was one of my favourite collections from CSM, I'm glad she won an award.

i watched the show online, hers was definitely one of the best!!

i loved the first few looks and thought this is great but is it wearable/ can it be sold .. and then voila! she sends out some more simple pieces that still embodied the same spirt, and very wearable! this one's going far! i hope.

Though I think this is clever and it is original and I'd love to see more of her work, what else can she do apart from working with lazer cut fabric?

Putting how amazing laser cut fabrics are aside, the actual looks look weird.

ts a cool technique, but unfortunately there is a lot of saggy boob looking stuff going on here.

i appreciate the construction of the garments ..but i'm not very fascinated by the design.

could you post a link to the show? : -)

very short^ but thank you! : -)

Here's what Lilly says about her collection:
"I just started looking at Picasso sculptures and diamonds and how they're cut. So I started layering up fabric in 3-D shapes so the garments became like soft moving sculptures."
and some more photos..

wow I'm at work right now but i really want to see this collection video.

i love the idea of the soft moving sculptures.

very nice visually of course.

I like that it is different but it doesn't seem very wearable to me. It is still very beautiful. The soft colors are wonderful, they compliment the rather extravagant design so well.
