It's not easy being a world-famous supermodel/actress/student.

Spare a thought for multi-tasking clothes horse Lily Cole, who had to dash back from the Cannes Film Festival for her History of Art exam today.
The 21-year-old was spotted doing some last-minute revision as she raced out of the examination hall at Cambridge, water bottle and notes in hand.


It was a far cry from her glamorous appearance at Cannes, where the statuesque redhead donned a stunning cream gown for the premiere of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, in which she co-stars.

'Lily is quite nervous about her exams, just like the rest of us,' said a fellow student at the prestigious King's College.

'The end of year exams are a big deal at Cambridge University and we've all spent weeks revising.
'I don't know how she has managed to fit any revision into her busy social life.'
Lily - who is dating Without A Trace actor Enrique Murciano - enrolled in Cambridge last year, after deferring for two years to further her modelling career.

Famous for fronting a Mark's and Spencer's ad campaign, Lily has also posed nude for Playboy, appeared on the cover of UK Vogue three times, and designed a handbag for Accessorize.
Her first foray into acting came in 2007, when she appeared in the big screen remake of St Trinian's.
Directed by former Monty Python veteran Terry Gilliam, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was Heath Ledger's last film, and is scheduled for release next month.

She has several years of student life ahead of her and has only just turned 21.
But Lily Cole set tongues wagging today when she was spotted with a ring on her engagement finger.
The model wore the band on her left hand while out in London's Primrose Hill with her boyfriend, US actor Enrique Murciano.

The 21-year-old has been quietly dating the Without A Trace actor, 35, since last year.
They attended his co-star Roselyn Sanchez's star-studded wedding together last November, and also went to Salma Hayek's nuptials in Venice last month.

During her foray into the sunshine today, the redhead wore a cream jacket over a lacey dress, teamed with several gold pieces of jewellery.

But regardless of whether her ring signifies anything more than a fondness for accessorising, Lily has been very busy of late.

Either it's someone's baby or she got pregnant without gaining weight.
Or maybe it's one of those baby mannequin, interactive things that teach people how to take care of a child. Maybe future plans with Enrique?

Her style has really improved I really like that dress she wore at the premiere, she really stood out and her shoes at the photocall were cool. She looks really happy too so good luck to her and Enrique although I don't think they are engaged.

I receive newsletters by email from ASOS and Lily is featured in one, well her style and how to dress like her, they say she has hippy style but I'm not sure how to show it on here.

Another thing I found out that my friend has met her at London fashion week and now they are friends on facebook. She didn't tell me much so i'll see what else I can get out of her.

I hate to attack her style, because she clearly doesn't care and just does her own thing, which ordinarily i applaud, because i do similarly ... but lately i feel like she has really been taking the biscuit, with her choices. That outfit ... i have never seen someone dress so badly ... not anyone, on the street, anywhere
