More reports have surfaced regarding the Olympics Closing Ceremony and the part British fashion figures will play in it.
Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Lily Cole, Stella Tennant, Lily Donaldson and Georgia May Jagger are expected to walk the catwalk to David Bowie songs Fashion and Rebel Rebel , reports The Mirror . Jagger is replacing Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who is reportedly keen to be viewed more as an actress than a model so has withdrawn from appearing at the occasion.
It's assumed that the models will don creations by British designers such as Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood.
But, the models won't be receiving a pay cheque anywhere near the sums they are used to - all performers will receive is a token £1. It's a good job Linda "I don't get out of bed for less than 10k" Evangelista isn't British.
The show, which is entitled 'A Symphony of British Music', will also feature performances by comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders, who will apparently sing the Sex Pistols' Pretty Vacant, as well as Queen, Take That, Annie Lennox, George Michael ( will Kate get up on stage with him to revisit her White Light cameo? ), Ray Davies, The Pet Shop Boys and Madness. Emeli Sandé is due to open the show and Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Tinie Tempah and Jessie J will also perform.
