For me, Lily Donaldson is the ultimate English rose: the tousled hair, the porcelain skin, the delicate demeanor, and—oh yeah, she’s gorgeous. Something I learned during the shows in London is that she has the resilience that British people are famous for. Earlier this summer, she was riding a horse that got spooked and smashed her against a tree, crushing her pelvis and both legs. Not that it stopped her. Here she is looking cooler than school at a party for Dasha Zhukova’s new magazine, Garage–for which she appeared on the cover and in a conceptual fashion story shot by Nick Knight, conceived by the artist Dinos Chapman.
