Why does it feel like she's becoming the new token black model? Am I the only one sensing this? I'm happy she's opening and walking shows left and right though but seeing her at Victoria Beckham gave me that feeling.

She's the most in demand poc this season by far but I wouldn't say token. (I kind of get what you're saying tho as she's kind of knocked aya of the moc throne

Totally, i feel like this is definitely the most diverse season ever, we're getting more than the usual 1-2 MOC per show, which speaks loudly on the industry's progress, for example, now MOC are not only being fillers like it used to be, they're opening shows and scoring the campaigns/covers as well...althought i do get Natalie's point of view in terms of the industry always pushing for one particular moc.

Right. It's like Malaika was hot. Then Aya came and she was hot. Now I've barely seen Aya.
I wouldn't go as far as to say this is the most diverse season ever. It's only day 4 and the usual designers who embrace diversity still are. The ones who don't, still don't. We'll see how it all unfolds.

I agree. Last season of the 25 or so girls to walk 40+ shows only two were black, I think these season there will be at least four or five.
Before the season even started Lineisy was destined to be the most in demand girl. I think she just happened to be black, instead of being a token.

Fabulous face and body! She's absolutely incredible. I haven't loved a model this much in a very long time. I can't wait for Milan and Paris!
