Few models can claim that they have helped define fashion, and even fewer models can say that they did it in their first catwalk season. But Lineisy Montero, from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is one of those models. Since she made her runway debut as a Prada exclusive in their Fall/Winter 2015 show, Montero has continuously been one of the industry’s most sought-after models.

Her face is one of those instantly recognizable ones: killer cheekbones, a slight tooth gap, the cutest chin dimple and, of course – the super chic afro that paved the way for a long overdue comeback of natural black hair on the catwalk.
