The most couturesque show so far, Lino Villaventura chose to design elaborate dresses in taffeta, tule and big silhouettes with delicate embroidery. His was the last show of the day and it gave a lot of subject to talk about.
I liked some and disliked others. The oriental shaped ones in taffeta were amazing, deliciously desconstructed. His men's line gave away nothing new (as is happening a lot this season) but nice cuts with good fabrics.
There were works of art made of organza, short skirts, high waists and tights (yes, there is one leg very Balenciaga) with needlework.
An exquisite collection, but very show like. I still don't know how this could sell.
