Brooke Shields and her husband Chris Henchy, boxing fans? Strikes us as strange but it seems to be so! The happy couple attended the Joe Calzaghe vs. Roy Jones Jr. boxing match last night at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Brooke took time out again to address the fans and beg them to watch her show, Lipstick Jungle, live instead of on the internet and OnDemand

NBC cancels 'Enemy' and 'Lipstick'

NBC has pulled the plug on freshman tentpole drama "My Own Worst Enemy" and returning sophomore series "Lipstick Jungle," sources say.
The cancellation comes after both shows dropped to new lows in the ratings in recent weeks, with the Christian Slater action series sinking to a 1.8 among adults 18-49 (4.3 million viewers) on Monday night and "Lipstick" falling to a 1.2 (3.3 million viewers) on Friday.
Though the "Lipstick" number was an improvement on the previous week, the show's ratings have been below the line for a while now, and sunk into the red zone after the drama moved to Fridays.
NBC's expectation for the return of "Lipstick" was modest, but "Enemy" was considered an important show. A spy thriller with a grown-up budget inspired by the Bourne movies, "Enemy" received NBC's coveted post-"Heroes" time period. That valuable Monday hour of scheduling real estate has become less worthwhile in recent weeks, however, as "Heroes" shed viewers -- weakening the lead-in for "Enemy" and hastening its decline.
No word whether Monday's episode will be yanked from the schedule, or if the show will solider on for a few more weeks, or what program will take its place. "Enemy" is currently shooting its ninth -- and final -- episode. "Lipstick" has shot all 13 of its initial order. Both are produced by Universal Media Studios; NBC had no comment.

Another one bites the dust. First CM and now LJ. I was hoping the rumors weren't true.

Aw and just when it was getting so much better in 2 season, i do think it was not the best show but the clothes were fun.

^That's what I'm going to miss. Aha. Where's the shows with good clothes anymore? Seriously. I mean, there was Sex And The City but that's long over. The only thing we have now are fake reality shows :(

Well all these news outlets heard from one source (The Hollywood Reporter) that it was cancelled. But NBC has not released a comment yet. I heard from our producer that NBC has NOT cancelled the show as of yet. They are still waiting to see how it does on Friday nights. Regardless if it is going to be cancelled or not, all 13 episodes of this season will air.

I'll keep you guys updated with anything I hear!

Thanks TheKiwi :flower: I love having your insider news!!

For your sake, I REALLY hope they don't cancel the show. What an awesome job you've got

Ooops a bit late but NOOOOOOOOO I hope they don't cancel it, I always look forward to my weekly Lipstick fix... I can't get enough of the clothes... and Kirby he hehe :innocent:

And damn the kiwi, you are SO lucky to work on the show :woot: Its funny, I was telling my friend the other day how much I liked Nico's office  so kudos to you :flower:

even though it hasn't been confirmed that it may be canceled, I can't say I'm surprised. moving the show to Friday night kinda gave me a big hint that they didn't think it was doing well...but I hope that they don't cancel it, its one of my favorites!

It must have been bittersweet for Brooke Shields as she filmed a scene for Lipstick Jungle with David Norona at Rockefeller Center earlier today. We're still sad about the show's cancellation, but at least it sounds like we may get to watch the remaining 13 episodes that are still scheduled to air. The fabulous wardrobes, strong female characters, and of course, a certain shirtless hot bachelor will be missed, so we'll just have to savor the last new episodes while we can. popsugar.

, fingers crossed it stays on!

I really hope they dont cancel the show, I'm such a fan. The clothes are great, and I like that the characters are more than just pretty faces.
