I wonder if this will live up to all the hype? It seems like they've been showing promo's FOREVER--I guess now that it's aired we will find out. I didn't watch because I was at work-but I don't think it looks that special.

i agree with KindlyCuddly. although the first ep is extremely disappointing, i'll still give it just one more try. i didn't have high hopes for the show but i didn't think that it would be this bad either. oh well..

what did everyone think of the second episode? i found it more interesting than the first. i'm not sure how I feel about it though. The hat plot seemed to be kind of.... lame?


but i had a few glasses of wine during it, so my view is probably bias

lame is a very good word for it. I don't find any of the characters/actresses actually engaging either, brooke shields especially is awful. she had some actually witty dialogue last night and the way she delivers it, it just falls flat.

I'll keep watching though for as long as it lasts.

^ It's EXACTLY how I feel about the show. Well except that I do like Kim Raver, she's the only believable actress on this show.

But I will keep watching, if only for the totally hot Kirby sex scenes (as in, hopefully there will be more)

I can`t believe that Lipstick is worse than Cashmere. I know the concepts of the show were different, but still. Lindsey Price's nose just bugs me! Seems to Michael Jackson-ish to me.

Second episode was better than the first one but it was still boring even if I've found myself some kind of interrested at times.

Otherwise,I think that it didn't improve as much as Cashmere did on the second episode.I still believe that watching this show is waiste of time,the music is good though.

PS:As for Kim Raver's sex scenes ..... that guy is so hot

Boyfriend and I tried watching the first ep the other day, and it was so bad we just turned it off after 5-10 minutes. And I figured out why I can't stand it - all the women are so insecure and frazzeled. When I watch a show like this I want a strong character I can cheer for, and this show just doesn't have any.
Cashmere on the other hand is growing on me.

I gave this show another shot hoping it would pick up some momentum, but the only thing I liked was the hot guy that Kim Raver is hooking up with...wow he is gorgeous!

Alright I thought I was seeing things... but I have both episode 1 and 2 open in different windows... did they change the actor for Brooke Shields' husband and for the guy that plays 'Kirby' ?? They're completely different men in both episodes! What? :S I'm so confused.


and I just also noticed.... the guy who was playing Nico's husband is now playing Hector? Her boss? What is going on? Am I just crazy?? Hahahah
