I was so excited when I browsed the Balenciaga S/S 09 collection thread! So happy for Liu Wen!!!
And I'm curious about the article. Is that true that Anna Wintour named her as one of the models in the Balenciaga show?
Anyway, she did a really great job this time!

It sounds so weird but I've read about Anna 'suggesting' models to certain designers before. She was a fan of Arlenis, one of Marilyn's other new faces last season, and then she played a role pushing Arlenis in magazines and to designers. I don't see why the same couldn't have happened in LW's case.
