Ralph Lauren: Would be nice to see her walk again (and RL back on the city’s schedule)

Proenza Schouler: Brilliant if the creative team wants Liu Wen, after all she walked 9 RTW

Michael Kors: Sure looks like it but let’s see

Tory Burch: Contractual? So she could or front row

Khaite? Too big for Sui? (Too bad no MJ, AWang, OdlR, DVF, DK, Derek Lam and CK etc.)



When was the last time she did a London show. Could anybody get her to go, probably a pass

McQueen: Don’t think so but would think so (sometimes current campaign doesn’t guarantee)

Louis Vuitton: Only add after learning LV fronts her W cover and MAS (personally, don’t think so)

Rabanne, Sacai, Valentino and Beckham could be in the pool of choices. Would love to see her back at Hermes although that’s wishful thinking



A little ambitious and hope some of these guesses are proven wrong/comes true. Will SS24 overtake FW23

The secrecy and unexpected covers of W and Pop, in my mind, makes it more probable that a Vogue France (or of that caliber) is imminent. Let those rumors be true.

My goodness, she is LONG OVERDUE for a Vogue France/Vogue UK cover! What else does she have to do to get these covers for crying out loud?!?!
 
"Apparently" she was in France these past days or at one point, so either that’s some indication that a VF cover is approaching or/and she’s there for some really good future projects.

IMO, ever since the Edward news on his exit a MG model cover is looming or in preparation for his departure. Probably a December or January cover and not necessarily his last (March). Personally it doesn’t matter what month as long it’s MODELS and Liu Wen is included. Not to sound redundant but just because she followed Meisel doesn’t mean anything has happened or will… But wouldn’t be surprised if she shot with him last week or the weeks to come for, presumably, a VUK cover. She followed Comte, Ghertner and EJG and nothing transpired, the same could apply here so… not to give false hope, but with the narrative and comeback she is having, think a Meisel project is in the foreseeable future. (I mean, if Eva Herzigova is working with him again then I don’t see how Liu Wen could not. Both were never a Meisel girl and IIRC Eva only got to work with him nearly two decades later in her career. Obviously LW was the contrary but to fully come back and potentially work with him after several years is possible. Why not.) If Edward and the British Vogue team are to formulate a MG group cover then I don’t see how Liu Wen can be overlooked. Absolutely not with the campaign season she is having of her entire career and the multiple covers from VUS, W to indie Pop and a British Model of the Year nom?? – come on, seriously. This is her moment and her dedicated fans know she deserved all of this. She hasn’t stopped working for the past 17+ years (NOT EVEN ONE-OFF SEASON where you don’t see work churning out, thanks partly to the support of her home country) and had pristine achievements here and there, but never the bride kind of treatment (or a new girl who easily got big covers and campaigns seasonally, no hate rather a factual observation). It’s time to truly give her her flowers.

She posted Prada on her Weibo a couple days ago. She also did another Prada and Miu Miu over the summer… whether that means something this season or not (or was an agreement from FW23). Maybe she’ll pop up at Prada after all.

Am most looking forward to Gucci for her ENTIRE SS24 season (and maybe LV if the stars are aligned). Despite wanting new faces for its cast and not famous people, Daria has to show up opening or closing. Vittoria could too, would think so. But hopefully they’ll let Liu Wen open/close (mostly from a business perspective and through the higher ups, my suspicion + MC China September was Gucci). With PG as the head of casting think it’s safe to say she’ll walk.

Well she just followed Sabato…




IIRC Naomi recently followed Liu Wen and sent some love back to her. Wonder if they were on the same set or not. Would’ve been interesting to see both of their energy and presence together in a few shots at least.

Anyway she’s in Milan and think we can predict at least one show soon.

Michele went with new faces and his niche cast of models too and knows how that went (which was fitting for him/his vision). Sabato is doing the same, even though it’s only one show thus far... could’ve used a little star power (specifically Daria opens, Vittoria and Liu Wen closes), but oh well, she’s definitely not hurting from not walking.
