Margaret’s last issue is June so who is her last cover choice. Gut prediction has always been Liu Wen ever since the news broke out (overly bias). It’d be a change of scene since she hasn’t been on a summer month for a while.

I mean there’s already a rumor that it’s Liu but can’t confirm it. May’s cover star is also leaked, so if that individual turns out to be true then it could very well be Liu.

So close to home yet nowhere to be seen (she was in town too, but perhaps preoccupied). Glad I wasn’t the only one who thought she could possibly walk LV… given her star power, could’ve been awkward. Was like her best shot of walking under Ghesquiere. Oh well. Solid cast regardless.

Think the Paris November trip was for Chanel eyewear? The obvious giveaway is her freshly cut hair in early Nov at Chanel Shenzhen then traveled to have that captured (sorry Balenciaga). Not 100% but think this is right…

Furthermore, Liu pretty much covered all she could for Chanel in ad campaigns. With the addition of eyewear, what’s left is something in apparel and fragrance (both proved to be difficult). Personally would even add a handbag print campaign too.

Glad to see Chanel’s renewal interest in Wen and utilizing her in more prominent roles both runway and campaigns.

Turns out they were correct it was indeed Cate (late released, what was that about too?). More confident that LW will be on June (additional people are saying so now). Not 100% but 90%. Hopefully the quality is there.

Less than a week and we don’t know if she’ll attend MET. Nothing on Weibo. She’s probably in stealth mode on to NYC given her Insta post. Free and on the move.


Maybe SCTY signals that she’s going…
