True, altough it wasn't even that akward, I think.
She just had a perm and braces but her pretty face was already there.
And that period didn't even last that long if you think of the fact that she was 14 when she signed with Ford as a model.

Besides, who cares about your perm when you'r 12 and can hang backstage at your dad's concert with cool people? (yes, Axl Rose was cool at the time)
