I just watched Desert Flower, as it came by while channel surfing. I enjoyed the movie, though I have read Waris` story before, on the Reader`s digest I believe. I still want to read the whole book, and then decide what to think of her acting. The storyline was a bit cut-short imo, but it is not her fault, obviously. She was really sweet and cute in that role, the least to say.
