I really like some of the jackets.
    Loving the make up too.
But I hated the fact that the guests where standing up.

lovely and lively, but the collection is like a resort collection rather than ready-to-wear

lvmh may have another bottega on their hands if vevers keeps designing like this. the pops of color especially remind me of maeir's early days.

No, Stuart Vevers has been doing it for hardly two years.

well... that's what you get when you hire a former bottega (and mulberry) designer, no?
i like where he is taking the house, but i wish the target was a bit more defined.
when you see a BV show, you can tell who that kind of woman is, where she spends her summers, where she dines... here it's not so clear i think.

i agree. i do believe that bottega veneta had a more defined customer -- albeit from the eighties and nineties, no? -- when tomas took over than loewe has ever had. however, some of these offerings remain SUPER-luxurious and that sort of stock has appeal to a very high end client. like hermes, bottega, and others, this sort of craftmanship and refinement finds itself immune from down market copycats and tends to make it onto a very fashionable woman -- whether she's a balmain girl or a carolina herrera client -- in the way of shoes, bags, and belts.
