Rafael’s shoot is an amateur eyesore and should have never made it to print. Shooting him on the field, in motion would likely produce more of a decent result: Cheap styling and directionless, weak photography. He’s a forgettable model, but that’s not his fault since most hetero male athletes can’t model and typically look awkward, uncomfortable and self-conscious when modelling fashion. They need a lot of strong direction, and strength in creative direction is not a standard trait with photographers nowadays.

Orlando’s and Venus’ shoots are surprisingly competent— which is hilariously and sadly a passable feat worthy of praise these days with fashion publications.

what a set of uninspired editorials...it makes Vogue uninspired editorials much better by comparison....

It makes me laugh when these so called celebs became newly single and they got put into a magazine all styled up as if to say ‘hey, I’m single now’. And I can’t stop thinking them using the pics from these shoots as their dating app profile picture lol

Orlando is so hit-or-miss, when it comes to how attractive he looks in both stills and film.
The cover of him is a miss. And also, the hiding of the feet- weird. Like he's hiding his toes or something.

Venus' edit is decent.
I am wondering if the quality of the files is darkening it even more; I feel like HD files in 4K would do it justice.

Orlando's photos are beautiful. Reminds of a Tom Cruise shooting from the 90s(?).
