L'Officiel Paris August 2015: Lily Aldridge

I find this much better than her VT cover, but it's essentially just a portrait shot, anyone can pull this off. Didnt know she had Native American ancestry, at least the middle parted hair and styling ties in with the coverline.

Her face looks always the same way to me. I don't get it why she gets any covers or campaigns. She is so boring.

I think the Native American line is a play on words about her being American not necessarily native.

stunning! She may not be the most versatille model but her face is pretty unique

Not a huge fan of Lily, but this is nice. This cover really shows off of uniqueness of her features.

Lily bores me. She always look the same. Next.

Oh? I thought so because of her overall look (hairstyle and the top) tied in with the 'Native American' look.

I think she is striking, timelessly beautiful and I don't think this is the fault of the model but the direction given by the photographer and clearly the concept behind the story, perhaps they could have had more movement but like I said sometimes the models can be restricted by the magazine and what they publish ...

This is quite a weak collections issue. I actually like the beauty shots in Lily's story, because not much was required from her. There's definitely a Native American theme in that edit.

The main collections ed is quite disappointing. A bunch of girls just standing around in the latest looks? And the cities seemed to have been an afterthought. With D.C., Nevada, Alaska and Silicon Valley I can spot the relevance, but the rest just goes over my head. A splurb could've helped, but the copywriter was clearly off sick.
