She will never not be annoying to me.
The fact that this chair looks too big for her makes me tempted to ask what is this child doing there.
You're one of the oldest fashion magazines of France. One could say you're in institute. You're celebrating you're 90th anniversary. so congratulations! But why on earth put an American teen blog person on your cover? I fail to see the logic in that.
I don't see the relevance either. I've never understood Tavi's recognition, only because she's about twelve, has dyed hair and wears wacky clothes, she's considered fashionable or.. of her time.
Irrelevant. Boring and tacky
I'm so happy for Tavi. She's a perfect example of what L'officiel has worked towards during these 90 years, creating a strong fashion culture and influences to individual styles and personalities established at young age. Tavi represents the impact fashion media is having on the future generations. Looking like a french bonbon is also a huge plus.
Oh my goodness. Seriously? Has L'Officiel sunk that low? I don't understand these magazines who feature bloggers simply to remain of 'our time'. If Tavi represents our time or the future of fashion, then get me a time machine presto. I don't want to look up to a 15 year-old.
I don't particularly think they've sunk low having her on the cover. I don't care for her style but I do find her very interesting. She certainly knows what she's talking about when it comes to fashion and offers a really intelligent perspective on it, something a lot of people twice her age seem unable to do.
it's come to THIS? REALLY? ugh...
is she even a thing anymore? I haven't heard anything about her for what seems like years.
This is so pathetic and sad...
My eyes rolled when I read the title of the thread but I must say it's a pleasant surprise. While I'm not Tavi's biggest fan; I find it quite amusing and ironic to put her on the cover dressed as her usual (at least, from what I've seen) grandma self. Could be a metaphor for "Yes, we're 90; but we're still in".
i actually like it
Hahah what a joke, not interested a year ago, certainly not interested now! What a ridiculous cover choice for this occasion.
omg,DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY...
I love Tavi, and i love the cover. They styling is amazing.
Amen lol you're right on with that quote man + I love the cover image with the chair/her/the styling = good job. It's not about looking up to her, it's about being happy for her, she helps the generations of bloggers to be recognized by the fashion industry and it's about aknowledging younger people with talent! A word that has disappeared in a loooooot of magazines' offices these days
Tavi wouldn't motivate me to buy a magazine, but I like the way the cover presents a combination of youth and yesteryear - the granny-child sitting in the big chair, dressed like a grande dame who's going senile, yet also scribbling in a little notebook like schoolgirls do.
