ooh! Some of these sound really interesting. Would love to see more pics. Thanks igni
i am just being cynical but would Savanah Miller have got a mention were it not for her famous sister & Jude Law being present. so annoying....
i thought the same thing when i saw that helena...
who knows...maybe she's got talent...you never know...i don't understand how these students can afford to make these clothes...where are they getting the money?...it can cost quite a bit to make a set of quality samples...
oh and igni...i love your signature...
Your welcome runner and softgrey.
I have to say that I am not at all impressed with what I am seeing here. I don't know why the CSM grads are held in such high regard if this is what they turn out.
I may be generalising of course but i think that a lot of Central St Martins students are 'monied' in the first place. Just what i have heard from a friend of mine who tried to get in...I await being shot down in flames!!! Fewer students in the UK are able to study without some form of financial backing (whether parental or through sponsorship). its a bad thing. I stray onto a quasi political subject though!!
it seems that fashion design has become an exceptionally elitist profession...very sad to me...
I'm not really impressed by those either.
And the shoes on the dress in the last picture? um...
Uh, didn't see that it was shoes before you mentioned it. It seems that the graduates want to be avantgarde just to be avantgarde. I don't see any deeper thoughts behind the clothes. Not that there should be a purpose behind all clothes, but it seems very wannabe special and unique. Well I guess it is kinda unique (?) but not in a good way.
me neither, those looks seem so "old" in a way.. too Gallianesque and V&Rolf-esque to credit
Wow- I'm gonna love it here. And I'm gonna have to stay on top of my game. You guys know your fashion stuff!
just to prove CSM is losing its touch,
