so right when you say easy question not so easy answer...i think couture only makes sense when it's looked at together. i can't imagine dior without chanel or gaultier without rucci. they each form that unique balance that is the paris couture.

however, i must say that i'm always stunned by anne valerie hash's offerings. but gaultier i think just works magic with couture, i always anticipate his most.

Now that Atelier Versace is gone, I chose Valentino, but does anyone know if she will be having some sort of presentation in Milan where we can see some of the creations?

I am always excited about all Dior shows but this one especially mainly because in the past few months I have become more aquanited with John's work and Dior's history. This my first Dior collection from John that I have waited for in anticipation.

Atelier Versace isn't but just not showing this season. As is Ungaro who has been put on hold by the parent Ferragamo company.

However, beyond all that hideosity recently out of Dior, their shows still manage a degree of amusement.

But Jean Paul Gaultier always produces something epiphanic.

Chanel, firstly, although I'm not expecting anything too groundbreaking. And Christian Lacroix, for all of those colours! :bounce:

(Also, not to be personal, but why is everyone choosing Dior? Despite that Egyptian show, the last couple collections haven't been all that impressive, in my opinion, of course...)

Isn't it funny how everyone seems to hate what Galliano has done for Dior, yet still longing to see his show? :ninja:  :innocent:

Dior. No matter what idea would come out of Galliano's head, I'd still have a look at it.
