The canvas quality is good.. similar to Herve Chapelier canvas.. *shrug*

I ordered one of these for the beach, in orange and hot pink. The canvas is great, and IT DID NOT FADE IN THE SUN. The whole bag (even though it has leather parts) can be machine washed! Impeccable quality.

I have another big Longchamp bag which I use when I need to get a few things from the supermarket, it is 6 years old and perfect (no, you will never catch me with a plastic bag, nonononono, my mother taught me that)

has anyone ever chosen the same colour for main and stripe colour? if you choose the same colour on the onlineshop, the animation there shows that there are still white stiches visible, does this apply to the real bag too or is it just a "mistake" on the onlineshop?
i'm actually just interested in the embossing on the backflap and would prefer a one coloured bag! the visible stitches would bother me though!! so any suggestions as to what stripe colour would look good with "bilberry" as main colour would be appreciated too!

I had always wondered that myself--I checked another forum and someone told me if you ordered a one color bag it would still be stitched w/ the visible white stitching.

So instead i went with a 1 color bag from saks.

Also, the sizes are different from the "normal" stock sizes.

Sounds pretty good, but I cant see the advantage of this to anyone who really wants a longchamp bag lol!
