Does anyone practise the Lotte Berk Method?

Apparently, this is a combination of strength-training, dance, orthopedic back exercises and Hatha Yoga. The Lotte Berk method supposedly helps women make the most of their body to firm, lengthen and shape muscles: high rounded seats, flat outer thighs, lean long torsos and defined waistlines.

Sofia Coppola and Julia Roberts both practise Lotte Berk.

I'm interested in doing stretching based exercises, I'm particlularly keen to get leaner legs but I also worry that my gorgeous round butt will suffer and become elongated and flat from all that stretching!

It would be great to hear people's opinions and experiences of Lotte Berk and whether my worries about the butt area are well founded!

I just got a two pack video (one lotte berk video and another random one) at a videostore on sale. i did the lotte berk one, and was like "this was too easy" and i didn't think i'd see any results. well the next day, my body sure felt like it had worked out. my abs hurt (in that good "i got a workout" way) which was amazing since we didn't do any crunches or anything (good, cause i hate working my abs, but don't want them flabby!)
i haven't done the workout long enough or even often enough yet to tell you any results! but if i break out into hot abs and gorgeous buttox and legs i'll be sure to post my pic (haha just joking!)
i don't know if that answered any of your questions, but there ya go!

rainy_spring, could you describe the types of moves that you did from the video?:flower:

sure.
hmm. one was kind of like pushups - except instead of pushing up you just head to hold your body up resting on your arms from your elbow to your wrist

another was like marching and you had to hit your knees to your hands which you held just under your chest.

another move was standing on your toes with your knees over your toes (just note that for form) and your heels resting against eachother (to support yourself and take strain off your knees) and then do squats (rest your hands on a chair in front of you)

I hope those made sense! Let me know if you need more of an explanation.
