The bag is ugly. But the shots are pretty good. Those lying down shots remind me a lot of Marc Jacobs era LV campaigns.
I love it. She looks great, even if I already tired with the Marilyn Monroe looks. I like MAS "minimal" styling here, she should try it more.
I am officially here for Louis Vuitton campaigns being photographed by Steven Meisel. What an absolute treat, with this arguably being Léa Seydoux's best Vuitton campaign - ever. The colouring immediately took me back to Gucci's S/S 2001 campaign with Kate Moss by I&V!
Oh yes!!!! I totally see that now
More Meisel at Vuitton? Count me in!
This is my favourite of his campaign for Ghesquiere so far, Lea looks wonderful and I can definitely see that Gucci campaign with Kate Moss as well!
I hate the bag but it’s a beautiful campaign and in a way, Meisel has found a way to make the bag shine in it environment...
Let’s be honest, it’s a very bourgeois and classic bag and it’s not really « Nicolas » or « Marc » (the bag was created under his era but not by his team).
The laying down and bags thing reminds me also of the Lara Stone for Vuitton campaign MAS and Meisel did in 2010.
My favorite collection ever!
I really like this bag tho, it's a good answer to the perfect top handle bag which is the Kelly. It is stuff like this that makes LV confusing because they have timeless bags like this shoved into Nicolas' 80s retrofuturism.
I think this beigey peachy aesthetic is more Marc than anything else and I associate this aesthetic with LV not what Ghesquiere is doing visually.
MAS ‘styling’: white bedsheet and a white shirt.
some of the shots are good some not so much... something off putting for me with all those angles.
Pretty but... kind of boring...? These r expensive no?
Granted, we've all seen the "in the unmade bed" scene before, but Meisel, and of course MAS, have turned this into another classic! Simple styling and Léa's exquisite here.
I love it,Meisel x Vuitton is just a dream come true...and MAS for once did a good job.
The only shot that kind worked here for me is the 4th shot
Others feel very random the bag itself does not shine it just feel out of the place tbh
could do it better
