Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2009

He really did capture what i would think women would wear in back in WW1/2

If that was my interest I would just wear vintage from that era. I think that's too early WWI is Edwardian, this is really 40's/50's. And sloppy looking in the the photos too.

This is just so uninspiring and slightly dowdy without being eccentric and cool.

the third one- floral print, matronly silhouette...like prada/miu miu but way uglier and more awkward.

I love the romanticism of WWII America...and would loved to have seen Marc create an entire SS or FW collection based around it, but this just does not do anything for...dull, average, unflattering, run-of-mill...Marc is so much better than this.

I like some pieces, and I think the sock and heel trend works here. But the model is putting me off some pieces.

Its very whimsy and cute, nothing outstanding, and looks more MJ than LV.

Wow, very WW II indeed...I think he may have seen Blackbook...they look like costumes from that movie. Right down to the hair.

who the hell is this targeted to???
because her hair and make up look old Hollywood, but then the clothes seem to be for the quintessential lv-rtw girl (think sofia)... but in high heels and with touches of femininity.
i don't know how old this woman is, i don't know if she is travelling or staying home, or if she is cold, or somewhere warm
there are SOME ODD OUTFITS, and two nice and simple bags (that i wouldnt have noticed if they were just added to the regular monogram catalog)

hmph... those last few were a bit better.. but i feel like ive seent his look wayyy too many times before... he could have at least put a wierd twist on it... maybe hes trying to make a smaller transition fro the most recent collection so people dont get confused

Not bad! I like the idea of a little bit clumsy elegance.

Ugh, just NO! Couple of bags look good and the fur west, but everything else doesn't... and those wedges are awful.

i love the shorter black dress, it's very posh... but it's quite boring overall.
It looks very old hollywood to me... which, no offense, makes me think of my grandmother. I'm assuming that's not the intended market for these clothes.

It really isn't anything special

I looked again at Bengt's pics. That white cape and fur vest are things you could find by no name brands at an Off Saks.

The last few were at lot better. The socks are the wrong length when they are pulled up, they cut her shin in half making her look short. They look much better when they are down at the ankle. I am a fan of the sock + sandel look but it looks good on a long leg, i.e. shorter skirts and doesn't really fit in with this collection. xx

what is worst, that some of the LV addicts will think this IS beautiful and okay. which is simply NOT. while some looks seem to be kind of grabby but pretty, there were few so horrible it mustn't even come into stores. for God's sake.
the bags are horrible too.:ninja:
