Don't tell me that's the LV-monogram on the bathing shorts :yuk:

i hope i never see anyone wearing the monogram shorts. it's almost as bad as the new ladies monogram denim.

funny thing is, i've seen knockoff monogram shorts before. so in a sense, marc jacobs knocked off a knockoff

You're right, Jssy. Logo tees are ESPECIALLY not a good look when they probably cost $400. Put that tank with the monogram swim trunks and you'd probably have everybody on the beach laughing about how fake your clothes are.

Agreed, Lena... the only thing that I can assume is that LV is relying on the Japanese market for those logo tees, where they will probably sell out immediately. While there are many Japanese teenagers who have the most original, interesting, quirky style... there are also many early to mid-20's individuals who don't have much style at all and simply buy a lot of logo'd items (especially Dolce & Gabbana). These tanks will be huge with them, even at 35% higher retail than the US or Europe.

I certainly don't see those shirts being very popular in Europe or much in America (too expensive for the tacky logo set, but perhaps just tacky enough for the American celebrity set.)

Anyway, I don't guess we can blame MJ for this one... because we all know he had nothing to do with it.

The clothes are just pure fun and I like that a lot, forget all this serious, pseudo intellectual bull, save that for the books, for art, for people who don't know any better. More importantly, did anyone notice just how wonderful MJ looks???? Did he just drop 50 pounds overnight or something?

Here we have one of the most expensive labels with some of the cheapest looking clothes.

He really does look great there, the best he's looked in a while. The logos are pure crap, but I will save final judgment until I see the rest, who knows, it may not be half bad.

I like those satiny safari jakets..but they look quite YSL and Gucci...

I wanted to post earlier, but I didn't want to ruin the continuity of Mr-Dale's images. I have to say, it's quite tasteful, I love the safari jackets. And how does Jacobs manage to keep monograms in fairly good taste (Cruise and Men's so far)? This is nice.
