Ludovic de Saint Sernin F/W 2022.23 Paris

This is probably the first time I’ve seen « clothes » from him.
The closing look is probably the first « designed » pieces I’ve ever seen from him.

He is IMO one of those being more interested in being designers than designing…

Kudos to Gigi and Bella for showing up.

He is treating himself so seriously it's almost entertaining. There are many real designers, talented, gifted etc who deserve 100 times more cover than him and yet everybody is jerking him off what a revelation he is! Unbearable tbh. That collection is another pointless waste of materials but I appreciate coast from look number 2.

Casting yourself in your own show... tells me everything I need to know about this "designer."

His ego is bigger than Naomi and Donatella.
Haha Donatella would never hahaha
I can't stop laughing just realized he was part of the caught attention it did not caught my until you pointed that ..
Well he can enjoy his clout and better deliver before being on budget again , getting back to B -list casting & say bye to the Hadid Sisters

When you put more effort in your porny IG page than you do in your collections, this is what you get.

But Rick showed interest in him, so people will eat it up..because fashion-people are sheepish AF.

He is such a hack.

I can imagine that his label is bleeding money, or at least I hope. This is literally "international male" catalogue and women's clubwear from the 1990s.

Putting the hadids in is really just a sure fire way for designers to get onto vogues Instagram and in the daily mail - I can’t blame him even if this collection is giving H&M back stock

Anyone can make any of these clothes, and even if simpler pieces are his thing, he needs to find better fabrics or at least better pattern cutters and sewers.

For a lot of the newer designers, jersey has become a go to but they all work with it the same way and style it the same way. A simple sleeveless sheath can paired with an nicely cut jacket, or jersey dresses can be cut and warped to have Vionnet-esque drape to them. It isn't that hard to construct a high-necked cowl effect or contorted draperies, but mediocrity reigns supreme these days.

Yo can get the same look at Zara for a cheaper price, better quality and execution haha

Most of this is so generic looking. I imagine that anyone with the ability to sew would be able to easily make their own DIY versions of these.

Because Zara is the smartest mass market brand these days. Their e-store is one of the best existing, their image is on point (working with high-end stylists like Lotta Volkova, Marie Amélie Sauvé etc) and use hot models of the moment.
I purchased some Zara clothes for a project recently and were surprised by the very correct quality and details (for the price you pay...).
Last time I saw some LDSS clothes, the fabric and finishings were crap...The cut is terrible. He has 0 tailoring skills.
