Luisa via roma

well thats good news!
would love to see how they wrap their shipped goods :)

Yes, the wrapping is quite neat.

I'm very satisfied with LVR - I've ordered from them twice and have received my packages very quickly both times. On the last purchase, I had asked for them to ship a different size for my jeans than what I had ordered, and they did that for me without any difficulty.

I will definitely be purchasing more from them in the future.

I've enjoyed their service so far.

They've responded to every email within 24 hrs.. and once my item shipped, it only took three days for it to arrive (and I'm in the US). :)

...and shockingly I didn't end up having to fork over any extra fedex fees! :ninja:

now i only wish i could find something i really really want and i will not hesitate :)

I wonder why they don't accept returns of sales items. Isn't there a rule in EU that it should always be possible to return online purchases?

not sure zarina.
where i have lived in europe. all places except the UK, returns are almost never acceptable in designer boutiques.
only credit notes are given :(

just checking that when you enter your credit card information when purchasing something a new page comes up ...it's kind of a like a narrow column and then you confirm your purchase and then another page appears where you enter your card digits into a graphic that's like a 'card' ...

that was a really bad explanation lol

i've never bought off lvr before...they don't have a login like NAP or anything, so it's strange...do they store all your details, because once i put in my address and name it remembers it....

my Giambatista pieces that were supposed to arrive late january was going to arrive late feb instead...and last week they emailed me saying it should be in in march...so im waiting...they said i could cancel my orders or stick with it...im stickign with it..

Luisaviaroma just started today their sale with up to 50% discount

...and now they've added a load of A/W collections for pre-sale.

Not trying to bash LVR, but I've ordered from them in past and they blatantly lied about the material of the item I purchased. They attempted to ship me a fox fur to New York, but they were really shipping me a beaver. Customs rejected the shipment because they did not properly identify the "wildlife" in the package. They assured me that the government agency was wrong and it was all just a big misunderstanding since the description was in Italian. They had to change the invoice in order to release the package. Mind you, LVR assured me that their description was corret. To make a long story short, I called the manufacturer and looked at the waxy pelt, confirmed it wasn't a fox, and LVR still refused to accept the return. However, they did correct their website and list the horrid piece of rodent fur as BEAVER....

I have purchased tons of things from lvr and any problems I have had were always quickly fixed. I talked with cristina the manger who is the nicest girl in the world and I really think this is an honest mistake of theirs. I'd give them another chance I'm sure you'll have a better experience!

sorry to hear that christion... i have now placed my second order with them as the first one went perfectly right.. actually maybe not perfect but almost. the giuseppe zanotti flats i bought had been tried on so had a few scratches on the sole but who cares, right :)
i bought a pair of pierre hardy turquoise slinbacks and the yellow patent Lanvin flats.. both at an amazing discount since i dont pay taxes :woot:

I always look at their site but in the end i always bought at NAP. Last week I saw a very interesting offer: a patent bay bag in tan with 50% discount, so I decided to buy it.
Well, the item was shipped very fast, they answered my mails very quickly and the bag was nicely wrapped. So I am very happy. I also prefer that they deal with fedex, i have bad experiences with DHL!
And now I am waiting for sale of the international site at NAP, they sais to me that it will start "in near future", hopefully next week....
By the way, I live in Holland......
