^lol ... you anticipated the "i don't know who's this woman ?" .....

oh it's zaha hadid ...

i wonder why architects have so many press in fashion magazines at the moment ...
the "fashion magazines are the new art magazines" (from a well known curator) may be soo true, then i guess

I only know her from the Chanel Mobile Art exhibition.

For what concern Italian magazines, in this moment they are all influenced
by the Milan Furniture Exhibition (Salone del Mobile) and by the upcoming Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art. :flower:

(beyond the concern about "face the summer without cellulite" :D)

i kind of doubt people who're interested in L'Uomo Vogue have no idea who Zaha Hadid is. let's just say it's not Elle or Nylon. people should know ;)

Exactly. It's actually a bit bothersome for me when fashion magazines only focus on fashion people and film celebrities. There is a whole world full of interesting people out there who aren't walking the runways / appearing in films. If someone is savvy enough to read L'Uomo Vogue they should know who one of the most famous architects on earth is.

On an aesthetic note I do really wonder what L'Uomo Vogue is doing with these very unappealing bright green / yellow covers. They aren't attractive in the slightest. I think the picture itself is nice but the acid green is distracting.

Great to see her, this issue seems interesting.

That was my first reaction - not another pea-souper of a cover shot.
