I love Joel and Vanessa. The ones with models are nice. And the rest is so wtf.

None of these covers work for me at all...

Thank you, I thought it was only me! LOL. I think what I find more annoying than the visibly generic GQ styling and framing is the unnecessary use of superlative. The 'European' theme. It's such a cop-out. And once you look beyond the smoke and mirrors you see that all VI's top advertisers got a cover, along with Celine who is trying really hard to cement their menswear.
Also, Vanessa Paradis got the cover because she's 'Marianne'? I feel like I keep reading this. There's always someone who embodies Marianne even though I can't see it personally. A few years ago Laetitia Casta was a modern day Marianne. Maybe the way us outsiders regard Marrianne is different from the French.

With a gun to my head, I'll choose the Van Drimmelen cover, and maybe the first one because of the colours. But the rest are all trite.

I don’t know if I need from L’Uomo Vogue or Condé Nast to stand for Europe. I mean, the company already stand for that...
Who are they trying to convince?
Those covers are not good enough to support the message anyway

Kinda like Joel's but not really. The rest just look like editorial images not covers.

I HATE MULTIPLE COVERS. 7 of these go from stupid to awful, and back again.
If I had to choose one, I'd go with the first one, because that guy Joel is kinda hot.
I want so badly for Uomo Vogue to be good, but almost every issue is an eye rolling letdown. Love Letters to Europe...what does that even mean???

Why can't there be a one great Men's fashion magazine???

Love Joel! and I thought Parker was Matthew Terry for a second from that angle. I love the outfit he's wearing.

I agree there are too many covers but usually only a few make it to the stand. I do hope Joel and Parker's covers make it.
