so bland...

Much like the guy who's on the cover! Now wonder this magazine will go up in smoke. How on earth do they expect people to buy this issue based on such a dour image.

A fetching image of an interesting man. I have always preferred simple sophistication for mens' magazines.

I heard that the magazine is going to be unpublished soon... any news?

Flipped through this issue and there’s nothing that stands out— every story just blurs into the next… the cast of models are a bunch of skinny thinks in oversized crap; Their signature profiles on prominent individuals lack the usual charm and flair; If I had to choose s standout story, I’d say the DSquared advertorial is the best, and it’s really not even shot well with the bland grey seamless— just kooky and at least the model is handsome… The Javier story is bland as hell.

I wanted them to go all out with these last remaining issues like an atomic bomb if this is to come to an end in December, especially with a September issue. But it’s more conforming to the bland trends of the moment than standing out. Maybe they’re hoping that the conformity will revive the magazine?????

I will remain loyal to them to the end.

I was so excited to see that this photo duo shot Javier, but the images are flat to me. There is nothing exciting about this. This could've been super dope, and sultry. Missed opportunity, man.
