But it's not for Hedi,
If it is Nicholas lets hope that he will leave LV. It's been a constant struggle between concept and commerce. It's resulted in a very messy and confusing vision. I'd rather he be at a house with no rules where he can have free rein. Perhaps Pierre Hardy will work with him again. The shoes at LV have been atrocious season after season. I hope it comes into fruition sooner rather than later.
It's obviously for Nicolas as he is the only one who never had a eponymous house and his friendship with Delphine Arnault is well known.
I'm naive but i hope that Nicolas will choose to be independent instead. He has the potential to create his Rick Owens or his Dries Van Noten. With LVMH it's going to be very accessories focused and i don't want that from him.
I want great clothes and great shoes by Pierre Hardy.
He is still there for 5 years so, he may start as soon as he leaves Vuitton or he can start the foundation while being at Vuitton.
I don't know if his Vision is messy because i think that he has found a way to please himself and his bosses.
One thing is sure, the executives at Vuitton are very happy with him and i can tell you that they are more happy with Nicolas than they were with Marc in the last few years.
Virgil, darling, could you try to design something for a change?? And when I say "DESIGN" I don´t mean copy...
very unlikely since she has said "the chicest thing is when you don't exist on Google"
so i doubt she'd want to see her name on shopping bags
I'm now 100% certain it's for Nicolas......
I have a feeling it will be a non-designer designer. They have jumped on the Virgil hype and I feel that they want more of that. Hype generated from a name bigger than any fashion designer...
