^This thread doesn't come up when you search "MGMT" not because it's a short or tricky word but because it is spelled using spaces. :huh:
Why are there spaces anyway? :blink:


But anyway, back to the band, I absolutely adore their music (Oracular Spectacular is my favourite album ever ^_^) and I have such a crush on Andrew lol :blush::lol:
 
^yes, that's why I mentioned the 'key word' part in my previous post.
regarding the spaces, it's written that way so we can keep the capital letters otherwise the system would automatically rename it as Mgmt, as it's designed to reject titles in capitals or mIsMaTch LiKe tHiS.

MGMT on new album and Jay-Z collaboration

MGMT played to a massive Splendour crowd late on Sunday night. It was their only Australian show.

But they revealed to triple j's Richard Kingsmill that they are planning to return for a longer tour some time next year.

They also spoke about the recording they've been doing for their new album in Malibu.

"We set up a studio in a house that we rented, so we were just recording in the living room of someone's house with like books on the shelves and expensive candles and stuff. So there was no pressure of being in a studio and thinking about money we were spending. It's more like we can do whatever we want."

They also confirmed that Jay-Z asked them to make an appearance on his new album The Blueprint 3.

"Just for one track. Singing and playing instruments. We made a beat but we don't really know if they're going to use it or not. They haven't even mixed it yet I don't think. But hopefully they will. If they do it's a really crazy beat to be in a song like that."

I can't wait for the new album.I would be fully content If it will be so sucessful like this last one,but I'm sure it will be even better:)
