BLACK ISSUE #22 - COVER 2 - MADI STUBBINGTON

We first shot Madison Stubbington at Pride Models/IMG Worldwide last February for BLK #19 when we decided she was the perfect girl for our conceptual shoot in the Victorian countryside, a story based somewhere between Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights and the great Australian novel by Patrick White, Tree of Man. Given it was Madi's first major editorial, she was quite simply a star on the day and in the 18 months since she has been shot by Annie Leibovitz and Peter Lindbergh, walked for Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Giles, Viktor & Rolf, Saint Laurent and Carven among others and named a top 10 newcomer on Models.com. Back in Melbourne for a brief moment, the crew from that first Black shoot; photographers Ribal and Gil at Superteam Studios and Black Contributing Editor Melbourne Justin Henry snared her for this cover and a fab editorial in the issue.
