What do you think of them?
I've been a fan for ages, but the ones I've seen have been a bit over-priced for me. The bags are also nice.
I like them. Maybe I could make one...
I got mine (in the pic) for 30 bucks, which I think is a great price!
(have been lurking around on ebay for ages to find the perfect one...)
I don't understand, anyone care to explain?
Someone suggested earlier one that you could likely make one yourself.
This page gives instructions on how to do just that...
Ah, you just say what you see
I'm off to try make one like scandinavian chic's
I like this one too:
magazine clutch on ebay
hahahahha i find it hilarious that this was already made. a girl in my experimental handbags class is making one, and is trying to knock it off as "her idea"...
I love them
forget the bag...can i get that DRESS?!?!
the first time i saw that episode of SATC i thought she was actually holding a rolled up magazine...because she's at a launch party for a new mag, right? i had no idea there was such a thing as a magazine clutch and had no clue it was a purse. oh well.
i'm with softgrey--leave the bag, give me that gorgeous dress.
Have the clutch, and want the dress! It's gorgeous!
how cute is that
i would definitely get one if i found one around here..
Those are so cute!! I especially like the one scandinavianchic posted!
Does anyone know who makes them, or do they just come from generic/independent brands?
These clutches were primarily made in the 60s and 70s. Some were made in the 80s as well. The original ones are made by one company (which I always forget what's called, it includes a mans name). The clutches from the 80s and 90s are copies, don't know by who.
The original can be found in vintage stores irl or online.. Good luck!
ops, double post!
ops, double post!
I got mine for 25$ in a little shop at the old port. I like the style and the colors but it has no strap and I find it a bit to annoying to carry it around in my hand all the time.
