How come we don't hear more about this American couturier? I've been seeing her work in various places and her clothes make all others look like they are from Old Navy. Pure luxury....and really for wealthy women. :( I just saw an amazing dress on Alicia Keys in a layout in Suede Magazine, and that dress screamed MONEY!!!!! But more importnantly it LOOKED the money. the price tag on this dress was $53,000. I loved the Maggie Norris that Micha Barton wore to the Emmy's.

I was at the Wasteland on melrose yesterday and the sales staff (notoriously hip) was talking about her emmy dress- I guess I was just too distracted by her bad hair but I didn't "get it". It's cool, but not noteworthy as there about a million fifty dollar vintage dresses like this hanging on the thrift store racks round town- why the fork would i pay that ridiculous price when, for that kinda bread, i could buy- oh, I don't know... a car?
