MAN Mens F/W 2017.18 London

What a breakthrough collection from Charles Jeffrey! In the past seasons I thought that his clothes, although with great show value, where a bit too costume-y to translate to retail. This time he delivered a very mature outing, but still his whimsical, Westwood/Galliano-y personality. The tailoring is great, and my god how amazing is that 17th century-inspired shearling leather jacket!?:heart: There was a really cool performance from the Theo Adams Company in the show. I'm really curious what he can do out of MAN and with a bigger budget.

Agreed, that piece alone was a huge standout. Even with that, there is a lot to like in his earlier century take but with incredibly different materials than you would expect. This is what I want to see when they show new and exciting menswear designers.

Obsesses with Feng Chen Wang's collection, love the play with volume and colour.

Really like Per Götesson's. But Loverboy needs to get something else going on, I can't stand the Westwood wannabe vibe of these. Or another Westwood for that matter, one is more than enough.
