hungarian born designer Hajnalka Mandula...she now resides in vancouver..

there are some cool pieces..
i like that she uses a lot of recycled items and organic materials..

I'd have to see more, but from these so far- this looks like an incredible collection!

Or maybe it's just the way of presentation. The lighting, the details... It all looks so much better than 'runway' or just a model standing there.

nice seeing another designer in the city
(i must say it feels local fashion is almost underground here)

i think she has potential
i like that neck piece she's made with the disc in the middle
and her approach to design is quite interesting

my sense is designers aren't pushing it very much here
a lot of the clothing still looks like ordinary clothing
but the first two looks you've posted
i quite like them
the texture of that white fabric
and the mix of pieces in the grey/black/etc one after
it's very new, compared
