I realize that I'm probably supposed to hate this, but I actually think it's pretty fun. I haven't seen many Indian influences lately, so in that respect it feels fresh.

thanks for these droogist. I can't say I like it though. is this an Indian label? colour overload. aaah!

^

helena, I just googled the designer - he is Indian, and apparently has a reputation for flamboyance. Some of this definitely falls into the category of "Bollywood costume rejects," doesn't it... :p But at the same time I see a lot of charm and humor here. An Indian Bernhard Willhelm...?

maybe some of the pieces would be lovely on their own with plain 'surrounds'. stunning perhaps.

thanks droogist....that explains the colour doesn't it...there are a couple of looks which are slightly more mongolian looking than indian and I like them. I used to be really into that mongolian look (JPG did it a long time ago).

indian willhelm was what i thought, too:lol:
i think it's lovely. a bit over the top but i do like it.:p

OMG,droogist,I think some of this is quite adorable! It also seems to capture that same flamboyantly humorous feeling as Moschino before he passed.

i find this collection funny, just funny!!...... hope i won't be asked to explain why.....

yes it's v.over the top !
but as had been said some of the pieces are too cute
& have to potential to be great on their own imo . .
if dressed down :innocent:

This collection looks like a lot of fun! Take away crazy styling and such and such and you get a lot of nice wearable and cute pieces to wear! Plus, I see lots of Latin/Hispanic influences in this collection, too...

I just don't like it. Unwearable unless you want to look like a goof on the streets. Unmatched, disproportionate. Ack.

i dont like this either, maybe few pieces 'pared down' as suggested but still.. it seems a bit 'forced', still i understand that it can seem interesting and even wearable to others

it could be almost 'hot' if it came out last summer or even earlier.

thanks for the topic droogist :flower:

I think it's cute and fun. I love Indian clothing.

it reminds me of Jessica Ogden

My brain is saying 'HIGH COLOUR ALERT, HATE THIS HATE THIS!' But I'm actually finding myself drawn to some of the pieces. And as said before, if pared down, with a nice plain top, the skirts could be super cute. I could do with injecting some colour into my s/s wardrobe with all the dusty colours around.

Hah, that made me LOL. :p Some it is cute if you take it apart and tone it down, no?
