Lacroix - have you tried phoning the Madrid boutique? I'm pretty sure there are no Ringos left, but they have already the new satin sedarabys for fall, a beautiful green and purple. They are wonderful!

About the copy of Steve Madden, I don't really think there is anything to do, at least with european laws. I work in trade mark and design registration and a patent is a totally different thing, a shoe can not be patented but the design could be registered and protected from copies. However I believe it must be expesive to do that for all the designs that come up every season.

Anyway, a Manolo will always be a Manolo and its quality and workmanship cannot be compared to the Maddens
