Marc Jacobs "Sweet Punk" line

search ebay luna...i got my beach tote for $100. it's not the leather, but it retailed for $995 originally. The pouchettes pop up now and again and are a few hundred $$'s. they're a good size.

I saw a siouxsie in a taupey color on ebay the other day. Not sure if it was authentic (or if these bags were ever faked at all) but it was GORGEOUS!

that one is authentic ^ but i thin that particular style doesn't sit right on the shoulder or something. i read smewhere that the weight distribution awkward

Just found this. Note sure what the style is called. I like the color, but they are asking too much considering there is a major defect on the other side (some big scratch taking off some color)

^^it's the rocker tote i think from the fergie line. they did clutch and small pouchettes too that went on sale at boutiques at the end of 08. they're patent leather and the studs are plastic or resin. I know i've seen a lot on ebay in he past 6 months and the patent seems very prone to color loss from the sun and also dye transfer. it's rare i see one on ebay that doesn't have some big flaw.

i think it's a cute bag, but there's something more grainy about the chipped studs and super soft kangaroo leather on the originals that does something for me that the bags from the fergie line dont.

ah okay, so it's sort of a "sweet punk" part II? I agree I like the chipped studs. There is something a bit more "raw" about it....

sorta ^ i think the fergie line was put out after the sweet punk line. i think resort 08, but im not entirely sure. it might be S/S
