It's amazing on so many levels, honestly. Most of the photographs displayed here are superb, it is the epitome of quality modern fashion photography, something I would personally use as a good representation of the top current photography in fashion. There's a touch of surrealism, a touch of minimalism flirting with extravagance, it is artistic and it's simply beautiful to look at, it's fashion. This is the vision of future I want to see. Asia is very much in the lead on the creative front and one can only hope to see more Western publications follow suit.
On the other hand, Lina Zhang. What an honor it must be to score multiple covers photographed by multiple talents representing your country for the anniversary edition of a major publication. It's a rare opportunity to see models celebrated to such extent on magazine covers, especially models that are relatively new such as Lina. But she deserves it! She's had a wonderful season and is a spectacular model to watch, so I'm very pleased to see such recognition.

It feels good to write such high praise for once.
