i love that in the early pics she has this baby fat in her face - she's not yet a fully formed person, she's still growing. i think she could be a great style icon for teenage girls who maybe fear they will never be beautiful, who are overly critical of their own looks. because as she matures you see a beautiful human being, as well as a beautiful woman. i feel like i could have spared myself a lot of misery if i had seen in myself, as a young woman, what others saw in me. marilyn might have been a good example at that age...

does anyone see what i mean?

it's a trip to see the pucci dresses: OFF the body they don't seem to have much shape. i guess that was all marilyn. someone (isaac mizrahi?) said that angelina jolie's clothes always look like they're falling off becuse they are not fitted. i think marilyn somehow looks naked too, or in some state of undress, or just that she is somehow revealing something of herself even while she stands there in front of you...it's like some kind of illusion.

I've been a fan of hers for years. My favourite "golden age of Hollywood" actress. I never get tired of her.I agree, there will never be anything like her. She is one of the most beautiful people in the world,if not the most beautiful. and she always had so pretty shoes!

(I've also heard from many documentaries that she had a nose job, but nothing else)

what i like about marilyn is whenever i see her pictures i think of how much more beautiful she was in person probably. if i saw her in person you'd not be able to stop staring i like to think. she isn't that photogenic (though in some photos it undeniably shows) and rather a real beauty in photos and off. <3 marilyn.
