She was in an accident, hence the nose job.

She's an incredibly fascinating woman, there is FAR more than the persona you speak of. I'm not denying that it's there, in fact, she was under contract to keep that persona up. There was a lot lying there that got overlooked....she had immense depth and intelligence, and incredible charm...yes, all adding to the it factor that she possessed.

WAIT! Norma Jeane was in a accident? I believe it was Johnny Hyde who said Marilyn should think of getting the bump on her nose fixed. I never heard that before. :s
