Considering that the London up-and-coming designers business model from about 10 years back used to be all about designing collections revolving around pretty cocktail dresses, I find it a bit confusing that there are so many banal, everyday clothes in Mark Fast's collection aside from his still-great knitwear. The whole thing does not make up for a harmonic whole and I don't see why anybody would want a pair of distressed jeans from him when other companies can obviously do it at a much better price. Aside from that, this collection lacks cohesiveness in merchandising and colour scheme - It's very much all over the place and clearly that takes away from some of his great knits, like the long-legged bodysuit in tan that would look great on the right kind of girl.
