i'm actually not a fan either and for the same reason as you. theres obviously a huge market for the airbrush and just wanted to see the reaction from TFS viewers

Well, it's clear they are very good at what they do, but i feel they are a bit soulless. And did you read the bio? I think we can get a very good idea of who these people are from that... sooo pretentious. Just looking at their subject matter, the way they light and pose, i can just feel their huge egos oozing out of their photos...

yes theres no mistaking they are excellent at what they do. I do find that overly "correcting" images removes the character that often makes a great photograph in my eyes. but perhaps thats the goal.

it was perhaps cheeky of me to post this link but i enjoy all photography, some peoples work moves me emotionally more than others, but i do enjoy viewing each and every one all the same.

I agree that their photos are definatly a little too airbrused, and maybe lack "soul", but in no way are they pretentious. I have met with them before in NY, and Markus is very very down to earth, kind and "normal" The same goes for Indrani.
