Originally from Ohio, Marla Belt got her start after receiving her degree in Illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York. Marla spend 11 years working for MAC cosmetics as a Make-up Artist. While with MAC, Marla was responsible for training and instructing other make-up artists, as well as working on the creation and color development of MAC’s products. After MAC, Marla assisted within the fashion and beauty industry for 8 years working at the very highest and most prestigious level possible with legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath.
With over 24 years working in many roles within the beauty industry, Marla Belt has worked on shoots for magazines such as Interview, W Magazine, 10 Magazine, WSJ, German Vogue and Vogue Homme International. Collaborating with some of the industries most respected photographers, such as Solve Sundsbo, Stephen Pan, Lachlan Bailey and Robbie Fimmano. Marla joined Streeters in September 2013.
