Every season, I’m on this thread praising NG at Vuitton so nobody can say that I’m not into weird or extreme propositions…

But even for me, this is just too much.

When looking at such a trainwreck done under the name Marni, I can’t help but think about Consuelo.
Clearly the head designer doesn’t care that he works for a brand that has a legacy and archives.

I know Rosso values the support of Anna and that’s the reason why Risso is still there. But good luck selling that.

i mean im the same as you and love NG and unconventional design choices with storytelling but here Risso must be stopped at this point. this collection would be great for some theater production or a magazine editorial yes but i presume that the whole point of this brand existing under renzo rosso is to make profit right? Crazy how JG and meiers are gone but for some insane reason francesco is still there. wreckless casting, atrocious clothes. this will not sell.

Wow the men’s is better bc the constraints of menswear. I like the coat with fur down the front. The women’s is crazy af but I still like some. The pink bubble dress with fur is the best look - it’s so insane.

This feels as if he took some kind of "relaxing pill" to focus on making wearable clothes; but as the collection develops you can tell its effect vanished...and he came back to his usual madness.

Well, at least this collection has the debatable controversial factor because he tries very hard to be intellectual or quirky but ends up with lots of ugly stuff that catch your eye and question the sanctity of life.
