 those too... just because the decorations on top remind me of huge m&ms. I would so wear them though.

i love those you posted soft! they kind of remind me of some marc jacobs did a couple of years ago, you probably remember them. they were adorable

on yoox i found these boots that are very lovely. also, i found a very nice pair on eBay.

^One of the rare cases where a pump and a boot on the same basic heel/platform look really good!

I sometimes really love Marni shoes like the second pair is really
I needed some sandals early this year and I bought these ones ( there was only the cruise collection out) but now I hate them :ninja: I really get that Marni 'vibe' when I'm in a Marni shop with all the colors etc. But when you buy these sandals just don't really stand on their own... I didn't find a close pic, only Kirsten Dunst wearing them:

i like those silver pumps...

also, if i wore flats i like helenas sandals...alot:heart: (with a huge dries full skirt)

but, i think that alot of these shoes need to bew chosen carefully with an outfit so they dont look "frumpy" sometimes its the same deal with some prada shoes

pradaromance...i couldn't agree more with everything you just said...

marni can be quite tricky...i think a lot of designers can be these days...

i think it used to be esasier for people without much style to get by cause they'd just copy a runway look head to toe...but now it's harder because you're expected to mix different designers and mass market and vintage, etc...you can see pretty quickly who 'gets it' and who doesn't...

i also really like the canvas and suede flats that morgan posted...and the canvas/suede booties mettchen posted...but i'm not sure how i'd wear them...:ermm:

Marni or Stella?

Marni or Pucci?

Most of thoses shoes look like everyone else just combined. The YSL heel, LV cutouts, platform and toe shape on the yellow pumps. I do like those yellow flats though.

...diorling..
very very similar...true...
but i think the stella is just cheap looking...
and the pucci colours are way to garish ...
plus why is there a pair of earrings clipped on them......

i think one of the biggest things about marni that sets it apart is consuelo's unusual use of colour...it's very artistic and unexpected...
that's what makes that first pair of shoes so special for me really...plush the richness of the silk taffeta ribbon with the raw edges...so luxe and casual at the same time...mmm....

it's like that design mantra
'god is in the details'...
